Requirements: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts The role involves carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines.
