Now hiring: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Lake County, Florida. What we are looking for: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Day-to-day duties: • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Season and marinate meat on request • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date Pay around $130 per day, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
