Urgent requirement: milling machinist (Ohio)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a milling machinist in Lake County, Ohio. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. You should have: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron On the job you will handle: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts Part-time with flexible hours.
