Join our team: plant operator (Kano State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plant operator in Bunkure, Kano State. You will work on a pipeline and trenching crew. Day-to-day duties: • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up You should have: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
