Vacancy available: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Devon, England. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting What we are looking for: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Full-time with occasional weekends.
