Vacancy available: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Waller County, Texas. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases On the job you will handle: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching 1+ years on the tools preferred.
