Fabrication workshop technician wanted in Freestone County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Freestone County, Texas. You will be based in the profile cutting and welding bay. Day-to-day duties: • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame Requirements: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads 5+ years on the tools preferred.
