Horticulturist — Tarauni

Immediate opening: we are hiring a horticulturist in Tarauni, Kano State. You should have: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish The role involves repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
