GTAW welder • Atisbo, Oyo State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Atisbo, Oyo State. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Day to day you will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. ₦1,300 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
