Join our team: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Copper River Census Area, Alaska. You will work at a busy bakery. Day to day you will keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity. You should have: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Full-time, day shift.
