Press shop operator wanted in Ihiala

Great opportunity: we are hiring a press shop operator in Ihiala, Anambra State. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. Your main tasks: • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings Requirements: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Performance bonus on top of base pay.
