Fusing press operator — Cook County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Cook County, Illinois. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment You will keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
