Lawn care technician — Clackmannanshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lawn care technician in Clackmannanshire, Scotland. Day to day you will sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds. Ideal candidate: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. £13 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
