Great opportunity: we are hiring a 360 excavator operator in Monroe County, Illinois. The job is in a demolition and site-clearance yard. Day-to-day duties: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter Requirements: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
