Lifting rigger — Ikom

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Ikom, Cross River State. You will be based at a busy construction site. The role involves: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather We offer ₦155,000 per month plus benefits.
