Gantry crane operator • Nasarawa, Nasarawa State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Nasarawa, Nasarawa State. On the job you will handle: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control You should have: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Rotating shifts.
