Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles On the job you will handle: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio Part-time with flexible hours.
