Rigging foreman — Ogle County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Ogle County, Illinois. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams You will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
