Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Donga, Taraba State. Ideal candidate: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges Day-to-day duties: • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. ₦220,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
