Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head butcher in Citrus County, Florida. The job is in a meat processing plant. Day to day you will dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. Requirements: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
