Framing carpenter • Alexander County, Illinois

Immediate opening: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Alexander County, Illinois. You will be based at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Day to day you will check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge. You should have: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
