The role involves: • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun Requirements: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
