Collision repair technician — DeWitt County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a collision repair technician in DeWitt County, Illinois. The job is in a smash repair workshop. Day to day you will strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection. You should have: • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
