Crane operator — Chatham County

Join our team: we are hiring a crane operator in Chatham County, Georgia. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. Day to day you will park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block. Requirements: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $210 per day, based on your experience.
