We are recruiting: we are hiring a steam press operator in Clay County, Florida. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. Day to day you will shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Rotating shifts.
