Vacancy available: crawler crane operator (Jigawa State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Maigatari, Jigawa State. The job is on a bridge and infrastructure project. Day to day you will help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off.
