What we are looking for: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes The role involves: • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways Rotating shifts.
