Slinger signaller — Owerri West

Now hiring: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Owerri West, Imo State. You will work at a busy construction site. The role involves fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; read lift plans and method statements before starting; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area. What we are looking for: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
