Mobile crane operator — Ohaji/Egbema

Now hiring: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Ohaji/Egbema, Imo State. You will be based at a shipbuilding yard. Your main tasks: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift Requirements: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
