Vacancy available: turning centre operator (Bauchi State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Itas/Gadau, Bauchi State. You will be based in a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; load and index turning tools in the turret; write and edit G-code programs at the control; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54). What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
