Great opportunity: crane operator (Rivers State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane operator in Etche, Rivers State. You will work on a busy construction site. Your main tasks: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control Requirements: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Strong attention to safety and load limits Part-time with flexible hours.
