Nursery worker — Lee County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a nursery worker in Lee County, Illinois. The job is on the grounds of a hotel resort. You will spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds. Requirements: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Happy to work outdoors in all weather A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
