Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steam press operator in Shomgom, Gombe State. The job is in a tailoring workshop. You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Day to day you will hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; give each garment a final press before packing; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron.
