Overhead (EOT) crane operator — Jefferson County

Now hiring: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Jefferson County, Kentucky. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. Your main tasks: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams Requirements: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Meals and transport allowance provided.
