Rigging foreman — Ahoada West

Join our team: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Ahoada West, Rivers State. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Rotating shifts.
