We are recruiting: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Clay County, Illinois. The role involves: • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil You should have: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
