Great opportunity: we are hiring a canteen cook in Yala, Cross River State. The job is in a catering banquet kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate Pay around ₦220,000 per month, based on your experience.
