Urgent requirement: furnace operator (Kwara State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a furnace operator in Edu, Kwara State. On the job you will handle: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling 2+ years on the tools preferred.
