Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Ogun Waterside, Ogun State. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Your main tasks: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts 2+ years on the tools preferred.
