Your main tasks: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching Requirements: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
