Overhead (EOT) crane operator — Cullman County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Cullman County, Alabama. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. What we are looking for: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Able to read load charts and lifting plans On the job you will handle: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground 1+ years on the tools preferred.
