Groundsman — Zapata County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundsman in Zapata County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance You will repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
