CNC milling operator wanted in Pierce County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Pierce County, Washington. You will work at a busy machine shop. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift The role involves: • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter 4+ years on the tools preferred.
