Conventional mill operator wanted in Douglas County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Douglas County, Illinois. You will work at a busy machine shop. Day to day you will run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work 3+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
