Immediate opening: excavator operator (Iowa)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an excavator operator in Fayette County, Iowa. You will be based at a drainage and utilities contractor. On a typical shift you will excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers. You should have: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift.
