Protective coatings painter — Hardin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a protective coatings painter in Hardin County, Ohio. You will work in a factory paint shop. The role involves: • Cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns Requirements: • A good eye for clean lines and an even finish • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
