Now hiring: cnc lathe operator (Alaska)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Chugach Census Area, Alaska. Day-to-day duties: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred 2+ years on the tools preferred.
