Bread baker • Takum, Taraba State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bread baker in Takum, Taraba State. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving On the job you will handle: • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Score the top of loaves before baking • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight Six days a week, one day off.
