Toolroom milling operator — Henry County

Join our team: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Henry County, Ohio. You will be based in a toolroom. Your main tasks: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
