Stamping press operator — DeWitt County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stamping press operator in DeWitt County, Illinois. You will work on the press shop floor. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Full-time with occasional weekends.
